Luang Prabang, Laos - 2014 Oct 10

P&P security guard knocked on my door at 6 AM, "Time to go home, time to go home," he said. I replied, "not home, Laos."

Showered, loaded up, negotiated a taxi-scooter for the two mile ride to the airport ($3). Thru security, they took my lotion.

Arrived in Bangkok at 8:40 AM. Thru international security, they took my toothpaste.

Arrived in Luang Prabang, Laos at 11:40 AM. Went thru Visa on Arrival line ($50). Then thru immigration line. Taxi ($7) to the center of town by the Wat Mai Monastery.
Checked in at Luang Prabang Residence: The Boutique Villa.
Walked around the shops, exchanged 2,600 baht for 642,200 kip ($84).
Then down to the Mekong River, found a restaurant with a nice view, had a large Beer Lao ($2), and chicken fried rice ($3).
Cool new boats.
On way back to hotel at three, I passed by a massage business, and at $5 per hour, I couldn't refuse.
Looking forward to tonight's activities and dinner.
